    very delicious: Italian Bread Salad!

    Ingredients:

    • 6 finger-thick slices of ciabatta (preferably a day old)
    • 1 tbsp vinegar
    • 3 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tsp honey
    • Sea salt flakes
    • Black pepper
    • 1 red onion
    • 2 tomatoes
    • ½ yellow bell pepper
    • 1 tsp capers
    • 2 tbsp pickled, pitted small olives
    • 2 sprigs of basil
    • 10 arugula leaves

    Preparation of the Salad:

    Preparation time: 15 minutes
First, tear the bread into small pieces. Then mix the vinegar, olive oil, and honey in the “carlotta” bowl until smooth and add salt and pepper to taste. Finally, soak the bread cubes in this mixture.
Next, roughly dice the onion and the washed tomatoes. Be a bit more careful with the bell pepper and dice it more finely than the onion and tomato. Combine everything with the soaked bread, capers, and olives in the practical “carlotta” mixing bowl.
Now for the green part: pluck the basil leaves from the stems, roughly chop the arugula, and mix both into the salad. Finally, season your Italian bread salad with a bit of fresh lemon juice using “matteo,” then transfer it into serving molds. Cover and place it in the refrigerator. Done!

You’ve got yourself a flavorful salad – perfect for a barbecue!
